SP/TSX slightly rose +0.2% (+53 pts), closed at 25204 points, crossed above MA50 (25169 pts).

Among the 150 largest-cap stocks, 71 (47%) closed higher. For 2 days in a row, SP/TSX rose but more than half of TSX stocks ended lower. Today, 45% of all TSX stocks rose with the index. The market is relatively tiring.

In terms of sectors, 7 sectors closed up, the market internal was more positive, 4 sectors closed down, ranging from -0.9% to +1.7%. 7 sectors outperformed the market. The market remained unchanged; Consumer Defensive was up +1.7%, the best performer, reflecting a more conservative market sentiment; Energy was down -0.9%, the worst performer.

● Innergex Renewable Energy (INE) largely rebounded +54.8% (+$4.77), closed at $13.48, hit a YTD high, crossed above MA200 ($9.01). The best performer with the largest increase in volume.
