SP/TSX slightly rose 0.03% (+6.39 pts) after a 4-day losing streak, closed at 19818 points, fell -2.9% (-590 pts) for the week.

Among the 150 largest-cap stocks, 80 (53%) closed higher. 41% of all TSX stocks ended higher.

In terms of sectors, 6 sectors closed up, 5 sectors closed down, ranging from -0.5% to 0.8%. 6 sectors outperformed the market. The market remained unchanged; Energy, Utilities were up 0.8%, the best performers; Consumer Defensive was down -0.5%, the worst performer.

● Northland Power (NPI) spiked 5.3% (+$1.23), closed at $24.58, rose 3 days in a row, the best % gain in more than 17 months, rose 8.2% (+$1.87) for the week after a 3-week losing streak. The best performer today with a huge increase in volume.

● Rogers Communications (RCI-A) largely fell -3.3% (-$1.89), closed at $55.02, hit a YTD low, fell -6.7% (-$3.98) for the week. The worst performer today with the largest increase in volume.
